Surrender Your Bird

Come to the difficult decision to rehome your bird? Or maybe you are looking at finding the best place to send a friend or family member's feathered companion.

At The Friends of the Aviary, we are dedicated to finding the best forever home for each bird in our care!

When surrendering an exotic bird, we will place them with a short-term quarantine foster for 30 days. From there, they will be placed with an individual/family until we find them a permanent placement. If we can, we send them right to foster to adopt placements. This process gives the bird time to adjust to their new circumstances with experienced parrot caretakers.

 

We provide well-rounded care, including proper nutrition, positive reinforcement training, and socialization. We also do thorough vetting of both foster and adoptive parronts so you can be confident your bird is in good hands.
