Wishlists

Purchasing a physical item from our Amazon or Parrot Shop wish lists allows you to control exactly what your donation is spent on! If you are interested in donating money to where the need is greatest, then please donate through our CanadaHelps Here.

What We Need

We are always in need of more of the following items: Bird Cages (in good condition), Perches & Stands (in good condition), Cardboard Products (boxes, pieces, egg cartons, toilet paper & paper towel rolls), and newspaper.

Fundraise

Follow these easy steps to host a fundraiser for The Hamilton Aviary 

1. Decide on an event that gets you excited. Don't be afraid to get creative! 

2. Register your event with The Hamilton Aviary. We can provide promo materials, help advertise your fundraiser on our social media platforms, include your event in our monthly events calendar and coordinate to bring an Ambassador Bird if your event is in person. 

3. Host your event and raise funds! 

4. Contact THA to arrange a time to transfer the funds raised from your event.

Employee Giving

If your employer offers an employee giving program, you can double your donation to The Friends of the Aviary. Make sure to ask your employer to match any charitable donations that you decide to make! Some employers also offer a Payroll deduction program using software like Benevity.

OR talk to your employer about donating to us directly, "To encourage charitable giving, the government provides a corporation with a tax deduction when the corporation makes a donation to a registered charity.
