Interested in Visiting The Hamilton Aviary?

Learn how you can meet our birds up close at 85 Oak Knoll Drive.

The Hamilton Aviary is a non-profit organization run entirely by a group of volunteers known as The Friends of the Aviary. Together, our volunteers, our donors and our supporters, strive to ensure that the Flock receives the love and care it needs to thrive.

Since many of our volunteers have part-time jobs, full time jobs, or are enrolled in school, we do not have the manpower to run private tours (an option we implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic).

Currently, we offer Open Houses Sunday afternoons from 1-4pm. People are able to tour inside our building, learn about all things avian, and talk and sing to our Flock. We verify our hours through our social media accounts (@hamiltonaviary on Facebook and Instagram) to confirm we will be open to the public.

Our open houses are free to attend, but we greatly appreciate any donations. 100% of the money we raise goes to the care of our Flock. We also have a wide variety of merch!

Also, we are starting to run ticketed events! These themed events will occur approximately once a month on a Sunday instead of an Open House. The first of which is our Pirate & Parrots event on Sunday September 24th from 1-4pm!

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10 a person (cash or e-transfer) and will give you access to games, photo opportunities, crafts, and of course up close encounters with our birds!
