$100,000 donated to The Hamilton Aviary

The Hamilton Aviary is very pleased to announce a donation of $100,000 from the Patrick J. McNally Charitable Foundation. This donation will support new programming and services at the Aviary as it continues to pursue its vision as a conservatory for birds.

At the Aviary we provide the daily necessities of care for our flock, we engage and encourage our visitors and supporters through education, programs and collaborations with our community partners. The Hamilton Aviary wants to ensure future generations will have the opportunity to connect with our unique avian residents while educating themselves on the ever-growing environmental challenges that threaten these species in the wild. We believe that it is important for everyone to serve as guardians and act as good stewards of the environment and all the beings encompassed within it.

"On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to extend our thanks to the Patrick J. McNally Charitable Foundation for their generous support. This gift will greatly bolster our organization's strategic efforts moving forward and allow us to provide the best care for our flock,' said Tom Priestly, President of Friends of the Aviary, the volunteer organization and registered charity that administers The Hamilton Aviary.
